It was an intense six weeks for Jenny and her campaign! Nine debates, meeting with numerous citizens across this vast riding, being interviewed on CFOS with a call in segment and knocking on doors – just to name a few things. As the election wrapped up last night, all the hard work came to a head and Jenny led the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Green Party of Ontario to garner over 3700 votes (9%). This was a thousand vote improvement over our last election, a great feat in a strong Conservative riding.
Thank you for all your hard work Jenny, manager Steve Morel and the campaign team. Thank you to all the Green supporters, without you we wouldn’t be making this progress forwards! We are extremely proud of the results and let’s keep this Green momentum going, the federal election will soon be upon us. Let’s continue to fight for a future that we believe in.
